Ella Margolin loves making stuff, ideally with people. She’s happiest when she’s in a studio, tour bus, or edit suite, though she loves garden centres and theme parks too.

Clients have ranged from Rebecca Black to PJ Harvey, and included extensive collaboration and touring with Lynks, Porridge Radio and Jessica Winter. Her films and photography have been featured in Rolling Stone, NME, Pitchfork, and many more (as well as on a Times Square billboard!)

In 2025, she directed her first feature film, Pieces of Heaven, a hybrid concert film/documentary shot at the Pompidou Centre.

She also shoots BTS, social media content, and events (especially when her friends get married).

When she’s not taking pictures or making videos, Ella is usually at her ceramics studio, in her garden, or making a big mess in her kitchen. She also lives to DJ.
